The 2018 Ford Mustang comes to the market with its first major makeover since the car was released back in 2015. For three years this Mustang always comes with the same design but as for 2018, the manufacturer has decided that it’s time for the new Ford Mustang to come with something new. The new Ford Mustang convertible and coupe is the automaker’s best front-engine rear-drive sport car. This car is slotted below the much more expensive mid-engine rear-drive such as Ford GT supercar and it’s above the other car such as the Ford Focus RS hatchback.
For the new edition of Ford Mustang, this vehicle gets a more aggressive front clip. This includes available LED fog lights and LED headlights, as well as a lower hood with new vents. As for the back, the new Ford Mustang has also revised the rear fascia and the led taillights. There is an addition which quads exhaust tips for the GT edition. The 2018 Mustang also receives four spoilers, more wheel choices, new paint colors, new stripe options, and more. Meanwhile, the inside of 2018 Mustang receives a heated leather steering wheels, a new customizable 12-inch digital instrument cluster with Track Apps, and revised interior trim.
The 2018 Ford Mustang also made drivetrain revision. The old generation has the V-6 engine, the new edition has better than that. Now we have an all-new 10-speed automatic to replace the old six-speed automatic. Meanwhile, both the 2.3-liter EcoBoost I-4 and 5.0-liter Coyote V-8 have been upgraded for better fuel mileage and more power to accompany this Ford. The six-speed manual has been revised for both engines and the V-8 models get a twin-disc clutch as well as dual-mass flywheel to get better torque capability. Other performance upgrades from the 2018 Ford Mustang include V-8 exhaust manifold, a revised mono-tube shocks, as well as the optional active exhaust system. The Performance Packs that have been revised will be available on all engines and trims. The new Performance Packs will include a new Michelin performance tire, magnitude dampers, Brembo brakes, and more for better performance.
As we mentioned before, the 2018 Ford Mustang not only comes with performance upgrades but also comes with more new exterior colors. One of the new colors available is Orange Fury which is the car’s new signature color. This color is one of three new exterior colors. The other two are Royal Crimson and Kona Blue which more popular than those two colors. This is interesting since Kona Blue has been absent for a while.
